The Samsung Omnia 7 is a great, capable smartphone powered by Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 operating system. While many standard customizations are nowhere to be found in WP7, there are still plenty of options and an ever-growing list of apps and games available in the Windows Marketplace.
But what happens if you get carried away or if you decide to sell your Samsung Omnia 7 and buy a new device?
Performing a hard reset or factory reset couldn't be easier with Windows Phone 7. Once performed, your Omnia 7 will be restored to a like-new state with all of your files and personal information cleared from memory.
Here's how to hard reset your Samsung Omnia 7:
- From the home screen, swipe left to expose your app list
- Tap Settings
- Scroll down and tap about
- Tap reset your phone
- Tap yes to confirm, then tap yes to confirm again
That's it! Your Samsung Omnia 7 will now be wiped. It will then reboot and you'll be left with a factory fresh phone.
