The iPhone 5 hasn't even seen the light of day, yet details have already surfaced about the iPhone 6 - specifically regarding "a new way of charging".
The report is an addition to yesterday's news from The Wall Street Journal regarding rumors that the iPhone 5 will have a form factor that is "thinner" and "lighter" that the current iPhone 4 model.
Supposedly, the iPhone will see a "major revamp" with the 6th model slated for 2012 that will include this mysterious charging feature.
The WSJ source also notes that a secondary, less expensive iPhone is also in the works with features like an edge-to-edge screen.
According to previous rumors, this cheaper iPhone will be about half the size of traditional models. These rumors also suggest that the price of the phone will be $200 off contract.
It's important to note that rumors began very early this year regarding a smaller iPhone model and they also predicted the shift of MobileMe to the free iCloud service, which we know now to be true. So that lends at least some credibility to this new batch of information.
