AT&T has announced two new smartphones into its lineup, one of which is the first smartphone in the US to feature a "glasses-free" 4.3-inch stereoscopic 3D display.
The phone in question is the LG Thrill 4G and, as the name implies, it also boasts 4G capability. Other features include a 1GHz processor, a 5-megapixel dual camera that allows you to shoot 3D videos in HD (1080p in 2D, 720p in 3D), 16 GB of memory (8GB onboard plus an 8GB MicroSD card) and Android 2.2 on board.
The HTC HD7s is admittedly a lot less exciting, but it looks to be good news for Windows Phone 7 fans on AT&T. It features a 4.3-inch WVGA Super LCD display, a 1GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and the upcoming version of the WP7 software with copy and paste functionality.
Prices and release dates are not known, but the LG Thrill 4G is expected "in the coming months" while the HTC HD7S is expected "in the coming weeks".
