A bit of dissapointing news just came across my Twitter feed. It appears that Adobe Flash, which is supported in Android devices running Android 2.2 and up, will not be supported on the Xoom until Spring 2011. Along with the Verizon webpage, Motorola also confirmed this independently to Android Central.
Adobe has already said that they are working on Flash Player 10.2 for Android 3.0, so it is a safe assumption that this is the reason for the delay. Hopefully we will find out some sort of time frame soon.
Update: The Adobe Flash Blog has been updated and Adobe is now confirming that the Xoom will get an OTA update that will bring Flash 10.2 to the the tablet "within a few weeks." Good to see Adobe address this! Flash 10.2 here we come!
