The Samsung Galaxy S Mini looks to be an excellent inexpensive alternative that adds greatly to T-Mobile's budget offerings
T-Mobile announced the Samsung Galaxy S Mini at Mobile World Congress today

The Samsung Galaxy S Mini was announced for T-Mobile on Wednesday at Mobile World Congress. Geared towards the budget crowd, The Galaxy S mini sports a 3.2" capacitive touchscreen, 600 MHz processor, 150 MB of internal storage with micro SD expandability and Android 2.2. Hopefully, T-Mobile customers we’ll be seeing this device on contract for $50 dollars or less. If possible, I'd even like to see this device go free on a two-year contract.
A second device, the T-Mobile Move, was first reported by PCWorld as also being readied by T-Mobile USA for release. However TmoNews and PhoneScoop dug a little further and are reporting that the handset is not launching on T-Mobile. There seems to be quite a bit of misinformation going around and I just wanted to provide our readers clarity.
Anyway, no word yet on the Galaxy S Mini's release date, but as soon as we hear something, we will definitely let you know. This handset should provide folks with a nice, inexpensive alternative to the Vibrant.
