Skype delivers video calling to iOS devices

The teaser site Skype launched yesterday hinted at the possibility that the VoIP service would finally get on the video calling bandwagon - but today things got official with the release of a new app update.
Video chatting over Wi-Fi and 3G with Skype is now possible on iPhone 4, iPhone 3G and 4th generation iPod touch devices. Users can also initiate video chats with desktop Skype clients. You'll also be able to receive video on Skype if you happen to be using an iPad or a 3rd generation iPod touch.
This development comes a little earlier than expected given the fact that CES is next week, but we are still hoping that means an announcement for Android devices is on the horizon.
