Android Marketplace now offers direct carrier billing for AT&T subscribers

Yesterday, the Android Developers blog posted an article announcing the availability of Direct Carrier Billing for AT&T subscribers.
A user will purchase an application the same way he has previously, but instead of entering a credit card number he can select the option to “Bill my AT&T account”. The charge(s) will then show up on the user’s AT&T phone bill at the end of the month. The buy and pay later approach has the potential to set users up for a rather large phone bill at the end of the month if they don’t watch their spending, but could also be a very attractive option for those wanting fewer bills to maintain.
Is this billing option one that you would use if available on your carrier? Or does the thought of having to keep track of your purchases with the potential of an even larger monthly cell phone bill scare you off?
