At today's "Back to the Mac" event, Apple unveiled a standalone application that will bring FaceTime integration to OS X.
The app will allow you to video chat with iPhone 4 and the new iPod touch users and other Mac buddies by pulling contacts right from your Address Book. It will also automatically orient itself in portrait or landscape mode depending on the orientation of the iPhone or iPod touch on the other end of the line.
But the best part is that it is available now from Apple's site.
