There has been no shortage of Windows Phone 7 devices being leaked, displayed and even reviewed already, as we rapidly approach the fourth quarter timeframe where WP7 will be available to the masses.
Nearly every Microsoft-powered device known to exist has been viewed in pictures and/or video, but the latest HTC offering outed by Engadget shows a little more flavor and a slightly different form than previously seen.
With a slide-out speaker the length of the entire phone, the T8788 looks like it should be a very nice multimedia device, and we suspect would even likely be marketed that way.
With the rather strict guidelines Microsoft set forth for the industrial design of Windows Phone 7 devices from its manufacturing partners, It's nice to see something unique from HTC that still technically fits the profile.
Not much else can be said or deduced from the pictures leaked so far, but with even the lowest-grade spec list allowed by Microsoft, this one's shaping up to be one of our favorite WP7 devices.
