It took longer than many expected, but the Dev team finally came up with a dead simple jailbreak for the iPhone 4.
And perhaps the best reason to jailbreak your phone is that it will allow you to use FaceTime over 3G - with a little tweaking, of course. Fortunately, it only requires one extra step.

After that, all you need to do is visit this site and download the My3G software, 9 to 5 Mac reports.
You will now be able to use FaceTime over a 3G network! You will also be able to perform other functions normally reserved for Wi-Fi, like watching HD YouTube videos and using VoIP apps.
Speaking of VoIP, keep in mind that Fring allows you to make video calls over 3G without having to jailbreak your phone. Also, you don't need to have a friend with an iPhone 4 to take advantage of it.
