We knew EVO 4G owners would receive the Froyo update soon, but Sprint has officially announced that users will be enjoying the sweet taste of Froyo as early as next Tuesday, August 3rd.
Not only with the update bring Android 2.2, but also a gaggle of other goodies like a native flashlight app, voice-dialing over Bluetooth, SD card application storage and more.
Just a few days ago, the Froyo build for the HTC Incredible with Sense leaked out, and we can tell you that from the sound of things, this update for the EVO will be very similar.
Sprint is notorious for delayed update targets, but it seems to be improving in that department. So let's keep our fingers crossed and wait patiently for next Tuesday. Trust us, it will be worth it.
