Just because it's iPhone day doesn't mean other manufacturers are hitting snooze on their alarms this morning.
A mysterious box found its way to our office just moments ago, and inside lies the hope that Samsung (and Android) fans across the country needed.
The Galaxy S, Samsung's sexy Android-powered superphone, will soon be launching in the U.S. -- so says a box containing a peculiar UFO-shaped USB speaker from Samsung's PR team.
The Galaxy S features a 4-inch Super-AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel camera, a 1GHz processor and the Android 2.1 operating system.
We still don't have an official U.S. release date for the Galaxy S or a firm carrier partner announcement, but all will soon be revealed. Patience, earthlings.
