Last night, Engadget ran a piece pondering whether or not images dug up on an Israeli website depict the forthcoming Modu T phone.
We're happy to confirm that they do.
Modu has officially unveiled its next endeavor and has added some basic details surrounding the sleek new device to its website. For the time being, however, information is rather limited.
The Modu T phone, according to Modu, has been confirmed by the Guinness Book of World Records to be the lightest touchscreen phone on the planet.
The diminutive device will feature 2GB of internal storage and microSDHC support for memory expansion, as well as a "friendly user interface and an intuitive user experience."
The T phone will come in two models, one with 3G support and one with only GSM and EDGE support.
The 3G model, expected to retail for between $400 and $500 before taxes and subsidies, will be the company's first cell phone to support 3G.
There is currently no official word on a release date or target markets.
