No surprises here, folks. Just as we expected, the HTC HD2 will be landing as a U.S. exclusive to T-Mobile, and will be available for purchase on March 24th for $199.99 with 2-year agreement.

T-Mobile held a special event last night in New York to let folks "experience the HTC HD2", and used the venue as an opportunity to officially announce exact availability details for later this month.

So if Windows Mobile 6.5 is still something that appeals to you, uncomfortably close to the availability of Windows Phone 7 Series (did we mention you won't get that?), then erase the pencil and mark your calendars with a Sharpie.

And if you really just can't wait for Windows Phone 7 Series, we wouldn't get too worked up about it. While you may not have the real deal, you'll likely be able to come darn close thanks to a little impending hackery.
