Best Buy has become the first retailer to offer the Motorola DEVOUR; Verizon Wireless launch next month
Published on Feb 25, 2010
As reported earlier this week, Best Buy has become the first retailer to offer Verizon Wireless' latest Android phone, the Motorola DEVOUR.
While this new smartphone from Motorola won't be available directly from Verizon Wireless until the middle of next month, interested customers will find a better deal from Best Buy anyway.
Best Buy lists the Motorola DEVOUR for $499.99 off-contract, or $99.99 with a new two-year Verizon Wireless agreement. Once it becomes available at Verizon stores next month, the DEVOUR will cost $149.99 with a two-year contract directly from the carrier, and that price includes a $100 mail-in rebate.
The Motorola DEVOUR features a 3.1-inch touchscreen display, a slide out QWERTY keypad, a 3 megapixel camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Motorola's MOTOBLUR social networking hub and the Android 1.6 operating system.
