A Nokia N900 hacker finds a way to play emulated SNES games with a PS3 SIXAXIS controller

With its high-powered hardware and Linux-based Maemo software, the Nokia N900 is quickly becoming a favorite toy for hackers. Tomasz Sterna is one of those hackers, and he has figured out how to recompile the kernel in order to support a joystick device -- a PS3 SIXAXIS controller, to be more precise. Awesome.
As you can see in the video, Sterna demonstrates the hack by firing up Bluetooth and playing an emulated SNES game. Of course, the emulation itself is also a demonstration of the N900's open source capability, and there are plenty of examples out there of retro games running smoothly on the device.
