A promotional Google Nexus One video shows off a new desktop dock and a car dock built with navigation in mind

Google has released the first in a series of promotional videos outlining the journey of the Nexus One from concept to production. The four-minute video focuses on the design phase and, in reality, is little more than Google tooting its own horn. However, the last moments of the video feature three docks -- one that is currently in production and two others that have yet to be released.
The desktop dock in the center of the image is currently in production, but flanking it on the left is what appears to be a desktop dock with an integrated battery charger. On the right -- a car dock that swivels into landscape mode for use with Google Maps Navigation.
We would have expected a video on the design of the Nexus One to feature behind the scenes footage, how the design progressed from initial stages to the final version, and the like. Unfortunately, you will find none of that here. It's basically just a clever marketing gimmick designed to show off the features of the phone. Still, if you have been waiting for that car dock or a new desktop dock for your Nexus One, this video is probably a good indication that it will be arriving very soon.
