HTC myTouch Slide for T-Mobile pops up in pictures

T-Mobile's second installment in the myTouch series looks like it will bring a slick UI in a subpar package

We've seen UI screenshots, we've caught wind of some basic specs, be we've never had the privilege of laying eyes on HTC's Android-powered Espresso -- until today. Droid Developer today posted a couple of purported pictures of the T-Mobile-bound myTouch Slide/myTouch2, sporting both the myTouch and T-Mobile logos.

They also had a more substantial spec list pieced together than we've seen before. It adds the 3.5 mm headset jack that the original myTouch missed, yet it somehow carries over the same processor from the original. It also packs a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, microSD expansion, a 320X480 resolution screen, a camera of unknown quality with LED flash, and a trackpad/push button combo in lieu of a trackball.
It's not a bad looking device, but some might argue that it seems a bit dated. We wouldn't argue with them. If these images prove to be the actual device, a phone that should build upon its predecessor and advance the myTouch brand, stands to be more like a step back with a keyboard.
