Fujitsu is prepped to bring Japan back into the smartphone game in a big way with a monster Tegra 3 smartphone that sports a 13.1 megapixel shooter.
The full list of specs includes:
- NVIDIA Tegra 3 (Maximum 1.5Ghz Quad Core + Companion Core) CPU + 12GPU
- 4.6” display
- 13.1 megapixel camera
- Water-resistant and dust-resistant
- Fingerprint sensor
- OS: Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
Despite the powerful processor, large screen and biometric fingerprint sensor, Fujitsu claims that their rugged new device will have a "long battery life", Unwired View reports.
It's also one of the very few smartphones out there that will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right off the bat. Meanwhile the adoption rates for other Android phones has been abysmally slow.
As if we weren't already excited enough, Slashgear notes that there's a good chance the Fujitsu phone will include an NFC chip and LTE compatibilty. The camera is also said to deliver "an SLR" experience.
The Fujitsu phone was first unveiled as a prototype at CES back in January, but it is is set to make an official debut at MWC next week - hopefully with news that a lauch date isn't too far off.
