More details surrounding LG's upcoming X3 Android flagship have leaked online, according to a report by Pocketnow.  LG will apparently be bringing the upcoming, quad-core X3 handset to market as the Optimus 4X HD.

According to information obtained by Pocketnow, the LG X3 or Optimus 4X HD will feature a 4.7-inch 720p display and an 8-megapixel camera. it will also have 21 MBPS HSPA+ data support, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB  of internal storage.

Additionally, the X3 will feature a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and a massive 2,000mAh battery. The handset will run Android 4.0 ICS at launch, with LG's custom UI on top.

Interestingly, the team over at Pocketnow has also seen at least one reference to the device launching as the G4X or G3X on T-Mobile USA. It makes sense that the 4X HD might become Magenta's latest G-smartphone, as we've seen screenshots just recently of a near-stock Android 4.0 build running on this very device.

With MWC just a few days away now, expect to hear more about the LG X3 very soon. We'll be live at MWC and we'll make sure to take photos of the X3 when and if it's announced.
