Nokia teases with nod to 'pure' photography

Nokia has released a video promoting 'pure' photographic tenets and the company has flagged February 27th as the day the world will find out more about this cryptic teaser.

The obvious expectation is that Nokia has something up its sleeve for MWC, and that something is looking likely to be a smartphone with some serious photographic prowess.

The video, which was shot in gloriously crisp 1080P, shows a series of beautiful, unblemished Scandinavian landscapes and detailed close-ups which, if our suspicions are correct, have been captured on the company's new mystery device (using video is a great way of hiding metadata after all!).

So could the Finnish firm be preparing a successor to the fantastic N8, a device which impressed us with its photographic nous but frustrated us with its clunky OS? Or are we going to be treated to another masterful piece of hardware hamstrung by dreadful software?

We'll have to wait until next week to find out, but one thing's for sure, MWC just got a little bit more exciting.
