iOS 5 battery woes continue

Apple may have been forced to delay the upcoming iOS 5.0.2 update because of memory leak issues.
The info comes from German technology blog Macerkopf.de who are also responsible for the original rumor that claimed the iOS 5.0.2 update would arrive by the end of this week.
Supposedly, the update has been delayed because it contains bugs that are allowing applications to consume memory even after they have been closed down.
A new timeframe for release has not been determined.
Unfortunately, that's a setback to those of us who are struggling with poor battery performance on iOS 5 devices - most notably only the iPhone 4S.
iOS 5.0.1 was released only a couple of weeks ago in an attempt to fix the battery problem, but ended up making the situation worse for some users.
