More purported images of the long awaited Samsung Hercules have been leaked to Canadian technology site Mobile Syrup. Said to be taken by a TELUS ninja, the photos show the Hercules running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and scoring a high 3,359 Quadrant benchmark score.
According to the tipster who obtained the new photographs, the Hercules will indeed have a 4.5-inch screen and run Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with TouchWiz on top. The Hercules will also be Canada’s first smartphone with a 42Mbps radio inside.
Besides the new pics and rumored specs however, no other real news surfaced from this leak. Just the huge benchmark really.
As Engadget points out, with a Benchmark that high, it is completely possible for the handset to have a Exynos porcessor and not the rumored Qualcomm chipset. We won't really know for sure though until launch.
That said, any readers out there interested in the Hercules? What are your first impressions so far
