iPhone and iTunes wireless sync over Wi-Fi

Apple's iOS is a tremendous mobile platform that offers a huge number of features, and one of our favourites is Wi-Fi sync, a function which allows you to sync your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch with your iTunes library without having to connect your device to your computer.
To get this function up and running simply follow our step-by-step guide:
- Connect your device to your PC or Mac using the cable supplied
- Open iTunes (if it doesn't open itself)
- Select your device from the menu on the left (e.g. Garfield's iPhone)
- Click on the 'Summary' tab at the top of the window
- Scroll down until you see a checkbox marked 'Sync with this iPhone/iPad/iPod over Wi-Fi' and tick it
- Pick up your device
- Tap on 'Settings'
- Tap on 'General'
- Choose the computer you used to set-up Wi-Fi sync
- Tap 'Sync Now'
That's it! If you've followed the steps correctly then your device should sync with your iTunes automatically, as long as you're plugged into a power source, such as a dock or main charger, and connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
