Find out how to view the battery life of your Apple iPhone 3GS as a percentage rather than as an icon

The iPhone 3GS is the only iPhone that can show remaining battery life as a numeric percentage rather than a rough and ready battery icon meter.

1. Click on Settings
2. Click on General
3. Click on Usage
4. Switch on Battery Percentage
